Help
What is this site?
This site allows you to store information, such as passwords, in a "locked box" that only allows access after a waiting period. You can discover how it works by trying it.
Why do you require email?
Well, we have to authenticate you somehow. And email is easy. We will not sell your email to a third party nor send you mail except the mail(s) that you need to access your lockbox account.
Why do boxes self-destruct?
So that you do not complain when 20 years from now you try to get your password out of lockbox and discover that we're all dead and nobody took over the website duties. Of course, if we're dead, we suppose your complaints won't harm us much...
Will you email me if my box self-destructs?
We will try, but we can't guarantee that your email provider won't categorize it as spam. Gmail, Outlook, and Apple (icloud) have all at various points in time blocked or treated email from pluckeye.net as spam. Will they block email sent by this service in 5 years time? We have no idea. We can only try to email you; we can't guarantee delivery. You may be able to help prevent our emails from landing in Spam folders.
What does "the box is buried" mean?
It means the box has outlived its normal lifetime.
Can you please manually unlock my lockbox?
Sure, if you pay for it.
